BIS 301 was a class was an introduction into interdisciplinary studies. I learned how to integrate my areas of concentration into various group projects with others of different concentrations. Group work was another tool gained, or sharpened depending your background. It also helped thinking and viewing things from different perspectives.

BIS 302 was a class that helped sharpen and refine my research and writing skills. Learned various methods of research and how to analyze data. Step by step process in putting together a research paper over 36 pages long. Group work was also stressed in this class, which helped in putting together presentations of our research.

BIS 401 was an applied study in a real work environment. I was fortunate enough have my area site be the Arizona Diamondbacks. With this course, we wrote papers in which we were to analyze our company or corporation from within with our areas of concentration in mind. This course was extremely instrumental in getting me inside a place where I would be very interested in starting a career with. Real world experience is irreplaceable and this course requires it, extremely beneficial.402- BIS 402 was an exploratory class where our teacher encouraged us to look deep within our own lives from different viewpoints. This class also overviewed all of which we had learned from the previous BIS classes into different types of assignments throughout the semester. Challenges for me were to apply different types of thought on exercises from our readings. Forces you to break the norms for problem solving and approach to different life situations.
